The Supreme Cannabis Co. (TSX: FIRE) is launching a new brand called Sugarleaf, starting first with a pre-roll product. Sugarleaf will still leverage the quality of the 7ACRES products and strains, however, products will be created using the sugary-looking, trichome-dense, dry-cured sugar leaves.\r\n\r\nSupreme's goal with this product is to appeal to consumers who are looking for a more mild and refined consumption experience. With the strategy, they are trying to appeal to newer consumers who might be hesitant to try other heavier-hitting products under the 7ACRES brand.\r\n\r\nNavdeep Dhaliwal, CEO of Supreme elaborated on this strategy, \u201cWith the addition of Sugarleaf to the Supreme Cannabis brand portfolio, we are reaching a new consumer who might be experiencing high-end cannabis for the first time and desires a convenient product format.\u201d\r\n\r\nThe first Sugarleaf product will be derived from the fan-favorite Jack Haze strain. Future products will leverage the remainder of their strain line-up including, Jean Guy, Sensi Star, and White Widow.\r\n\r\nSimilar to their flower products, they are focused on creating excellent experiences for the discerning consumer. They have stressed the pre-rolls will "burn smooth and even, finishing with clean, white ash."\r\n\r\nAt this time the price point for Sugarleaf products has not been released. However, given they are aiming for a more mild experience, it is likely going to be below the 7ACRES price points.\r\n\r\nThe addition of a new brand and the ability to utilize a greater portion of the plant should help increase revenues. Further, being able to sell a greater portion of the plant should increase Supreme's margins at scale.\r\n\r\nIn the future, the will be rolling out additional product formats for "convenient" experiences in the new year, including 2.0 products.
