The High-Level

Most of the marijuana sector was flat to down this week until Friday when the entire sector saw a huge lift mostly on the back of very positive earnings and guidance from Aphria (TSE: APHA; NYSE: APHA). Aphria alone finished Friday up nearly 40% on the day and 34% on the week. Distressed CannTrust shareholders even got some positive news right before the close on Friday on buyout rumours from several players ending the week nearly flat.
