Shareholders voted in favor of the re-appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditors for the ensuing year, and the election of management\u2019s nominees as directors.<\/p>\n<p>Results on the election of directors:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24583\" src=\"https:\/\/capital10x.com\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Sierra-Metals-BOD-Election.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/capital10x.com\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Sierra-Metals-BOD-Election.png 780w, https:\/\/capital10x.com\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Sierra-Metals-BOD-Election-300x92.png 300w, https:\/\/capital10x.com\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Sierra-Metals-BOD-Election-768x236.png 768w, https:\/\/capital10x.com\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Sierra-Metals-BOD-Election-696x214.png 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the AGM, Sierra Metal\u2019s shareholders re-elected Oscar Cabrera, Douglas Cater, Carlos Santa Cruz, Luis Marchese, Dawn Whittaker and Koko Yamamoto to their Board of Directors. In addition to the re-election of the directors, the shareholders also elected Robert Neal to join the Board.<\/p>\n<p>Jose Vizquerra, Steven Dean and Dionisio Romero did not stand for re-election at the AGM. They have been long-standing members of the Board and have seen Sierra through several expansions and growth initiatives. Jose joined in 2017 and served as Chair for the past year. Steven has served on the Board since October of 2011 and Dionisio has been a member of the Board since 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Luis Marchese, CEO, Sierra Metals commented:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">&#8220;We would like to thank each of Jose, Steven and Dionisio for the valuable time and guidance they have provided to management during their respective tenures on the Board. His knowledge and experience in capital markets and corporate finance bring a valuable perspective to our board.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Sierra Metals also announced that Oscar Cabrera has been appointed as Chair of their Board of Directors.
