We sat down with Alberto Erias, Non-Executive Chairman of Largo. Largo is a green materials and clean energy company. Largo is one of the top three producers of Vanadium. Vanadium’s main use is in hardening steel, reducing the tonnage of steel and carbon footprint for the construction and manufacturing applicable to any industry where the metal is used.
Alberto shared his view that Vanadium is critical to the green economy as the supply/demand fundamentals are tightening, putting Largo in a strong position as one of the lowest cost producers. He also highlighted Largo’s 2 pillar investment thesis and their upcoming catalysts for 2022.
